I agree, but on a bigger scale. He's uploaded his sentience into all the hosts, in an attempt to engineer new consciousness — he was trying to be the "voice" at the top of the pyramid of consciousness, and help kickstart the process of individual sentience. The man in black thinks he's discovered a bonus dungeon, but

This season of Shameless was brought to you by… Tinder!

I really enjoyed that, and thought they generally stuck the landing on Act 1. Bring on Act 2.

I thought it was Cheyenne Jackson, actually.

Stan, I thought.

I liked it, but it's not rocking my world. I do think it's fairly clear that every time Raimy uses the ham radio she changes the past, which is going to get really fucking awkward for her.

I don’t know if the show is going to be looking outside of it’s core creative group more often this season,

I think the answer is that the show's actually fairly ambivalent about its message — it's telling a self-serious thriller story; it nods at campy nostalgia; it's a fairly solipsistic riff on identity politics; it's cynical and politically immediate.

Yeah, look, I don't want to be a downer or to poke a bees' nest — Fringe, particularly season 3, is pretty lauded around here — but though that season was probably the best that Fringe consistently was, it wasn't particularly great.

Residue was straight up dropped.

But they had an article about Adventure Time Lego! See, they really do care!

superheroes, roided men beating each other with chairs or "space rocks" that may or may not be lesbians

Most of them, yeah. The Americans, Better Call Saul and probably Bates Motel / Catastrophe aren't going anywhere… but the vast majority aren't going to be covered anymore. And who can say about border cases, like Crazy Ex.

And class power. I'm poor first and queer last.

Did it even at the time? I think death by soup from Mary Hartman, Mary Hartman made for decent competition.

This newswire is fucking pathetic. The av club is going to shill merch, but it's going to cut coverage of the show the merch is based on? (Not to even mention the host of other shows)

Uh, why is Defiance nowhere in this article? That show was dripping with queer cast members.

I thought that it was quite subversively done, tbh, especially when it was compared with the other subplot about people who lived on beyond death.

One bi lead, one gay, I thought. Plus another who might be bi.

Regina King is directing next week's episode too.
