Not Show Me A Hero, or The Leftovers.
Not Show Me A Hero, or The Leftovers.
There's definitely a cut — the second time the focus moves, there's a thick white band of water about a third of the way up the screen that disguises it. It's at the 34 second mark.
Most recent episode but one had Steven walking in on Amethyst and Greg smacking the pony. Admittedly it was a pinata pony, but the joke was still there.
Love was the answer all along!
I'd say this is closer to A Christmas Carol than It's a Wonderful Life — only this version of Scrooge is continued to be haunted by the Ghost of Christmas Past after his character growth.
So at the end, the entire human race is infected, and the Doctor doesn't seem to know or care.
No, not quite. The plot does actually make sense. The Doctor doesn't understand what's going on because he never has a chance to view the framing video that Rassmunssen records. Hence his confusion.
No, the episode itself made sense. The Doctor just wasn't privy to all the information, hence his confusion.
He says that because he's only got part of the story. Thanks to the framing device, we're allowed to see what was really going on with Rassmunssen, and realise that the Doctor actually lost.
Okay, so a lot of people seem very confused by the plot to this one. Perhaps it's the found footage material that's throwing people off? It's actually fairly straightforward when laid out linearly, but you're only given enough information to solve it towards the end. Anyway, I hope people will give this a squiz and…
was any of what we saw supposed to be real or all just Rassmussen's fabrication?
The episode had earlier established that the guns don't work on the sandmen. Rassmussen completed the broadcast after he was shot and apparently killed — he was only pretending. He only finally died when the station crashed into Neptune, just after Clara, the Doctor and Nagata escape in the TARDIS.
This will be embarrassing for The Good Wife — this will be another actor they've suddenly lost over the course of the last two seasons. Ouch.
Look, I watched it, and thought it was worth way more than a C. You should probably check it out anyway.
*cough* Daredevil *cough*
I think that's why she said it.
Does anyone else think that having a apparently queer character be revealed to only be pretending to be gay is bordering on the offensive? I'm leaning towards yes.
William Hurt is… not amazing though.
I honestly believe mystical shit's actually going down, and it's not just all in everyone's head. Mostly because the alternative at this point is just too grim — and also because it'd require a lot of people to be very coincidentally correct about things, which I don't find dramatically satisfying.
Sure, and if he is indeed delusional (I'm still leaning towards the mystical side of things myself) he definitely shouldn't be looking after his wife.
