At the time there were quite a few people put off by Jay's attitude. I remember the TWOP recaps spent most of their time waxing "poetic" as to her more miserable qualities.

Fuck it. I'll watch anything. See you both there.
It was a good show, and a strange show, particularly in that run of episodes with the completely silent title sequence (And that title sequence is to die for, oh my lord yes). I'm generally of the opinion that the show only becomes really good once Blues turns up, since a) she's awesome and b) that weird sub-plot…
Oh, Banshee's on, but it's not up there. I think it's only been mentioned once or twice this season.
I'd be surprised if it did. Part of the appeal with this adaptation, for me, is that we could see a slightly stronger story attached to the same kind of editing and cinematography.
Yeah. In the UK kids are expected to be violent little shits by some want of nature*, but in the US (white) kids are golden haired paragons of innocence who could only commit violence if literally possessed by a devil. Or if gay marriage gets passed, or something.
I think all the stuff to do with the kids killing/being killed, is my guess.
I got a Siberia notifica—
Sure, all of those things COULD happen (and many had happened),
There are three. Kira, her mother, and a third that's possessing Stiles. Stiles himself isn't a kitsune though.
It's a running site joke.
There's a huge chance that would seriously diminish page-views though, like it did with the Nikita discussions (which took the same approach). I don't think the AV Task Masters will be willing to go that again.
Yeah, I'm guessing we'll have a flashback or an explanation at some point. We've had them every season so far, usually around episode eight or so.
I had a lot of difficulty understanding what he was up to tonight. Taking Kira to the power station? (And why was Stile's bat there, and magnetised?)
I wonder how much of that was Stiles, and how much was the creature controlling him.
The judges have ruled: death to Mama McCall.
That sounds almost like Phil. Except for the "has recently been really good" part.
Hey man, there's only so much redundancy Derek can take. If Scott got a (third!) daddy, he might have to get seriously involved in some plot line, or some other madness!
And also 'pili pili'. From what I understand, there are several derivations of the term from various African dialects, but not one universally correct way of talking about it. Certainly not in the U.S.
It's definitely good stuff — depending on how much you like Kitchen Sink dramas — and very similar to Jimmy McGovern's The Street, (who helped design the show) except also dealing with the issues of Australia's displaced minority peoples.
