That's the best version of the results I've read. Futon Critic's reporting more sobering results, but still an uptick on the first week, and still more than Girls is currently.

Joe Swanberg (director of episode six) ain't no slob, but I can see your point. This show could definitely do with the extra minutes, (though I think that'd be less of a problem if I were more familiar with all the characters).

I checked Yelp, and there are apparently at least four places that do peri-peri sauce dishes, but no Nando's.

HBO will renew anything, as long as it gets strong critical buzz.

The chef Dom was sweet-talking last week said that people in SF wouldn't even know what peri-peri was. Even Google spell-check doesn't know about peri-peri.

That's actually awful. Australian brands, represent!

Last week's episode probably suffered from the change in timeslot. The second episode doubled on the viewing figures of the first, and had a higher audience number than Girls to boot. Things aren't bad at all right now.

Nando's is pretty tasty. I'm shocked that the US doesn't seem to have any outlets.

Yeah, the show really plays things coy, and a long game with it. Graza, the blonde Liber8 member, spends the entire first season as a glorified extra, before being called on to play some pretty demanding stuff in the show's second season. And the first season only implies that Travis is augmented, and doesn't show any

Bummer. -___-

Yeah, but I think it's pretty clear which Dogget is which.

Continuum is such a good show, but I think a lot of people under-estimate it. At first glance it comes across as slightly crappy, derivative sci-fi, but it's actually a fairly subtle show with a few things to say about crappy derivative sci-fi.

Hmm? What gave you that impression? Surely the pair who survive are the ones we follow for the rest of the show.

I quite like 4-D. For all that Reyes is disliked*, she's the lead in some of the better episodes this season.

While I agree that contemporary American (Western in general) television is overly invested in the emotional crisies of the white middle classes, there are incredibly few shows that concern themselves trans* issues. (I honestly couldn't name any).

Whether or not you've had first hand experience doesn't really matter (nor is it necessarily valid — you might not be aware of who you've encountered). What you're saying here, and the assumptions you've made about trans* identities, are pretty damn ignorant and wrong.

There's nothing abnormal about being transgendered.

Transparent is a show that needs to be made. Anyone that's not checked it out really owes it to themselves to do it.

This was my first time watching Reign. Holy fucking shit.

Strongly agree, though I think it might be better than Arrow in terms of the pure action it can pull of. This and Continuum are the two shows I'm constantly surprised the AV doesn't cover regularly.
