Arkin's not been involved with this season at all though.

I misread that.
Maybe Mike O'Malley's character? Can't see him surviving for long. Colt's not long for the world either.
Shelby feels like the production crew leaping at the chance to use Jim Beaver now he's been released from working on Supernatural — they clearly have a great love for the man to cast him in such a small part back in the second season.
I reckon they could have had a shoot out with a truck, or whatever. The helicopter (which never turned up) was just a contrivance to keep the budget low. Or so I'm guessing.
Is Brandon Nowalk writing these differently from his usual style? It feels like a real departure, and I'm finding it really distracting. It's the same thing that turned me off John Teti's coverage of Six Feet Under, actually.
Ray would most definitely help, but like i said, I think he'd give Hannah more lip that she'd be interested in hearing. Hell, he and that Doctorr would probably team up as a part of a snarky tag team.
Oh Jesus, can you imagine how extra horrifying that would be? That'd be straight out of David Lynch.
Didn't she say "no" as in "no, I don't want to get it on my dress?" I can see why there'd be ambiguity for someone like Adam, who's previously prioritised and explicated the directness that he appreciates from Nat. I wouldn't find it beyond possibility to think he misinterpreted in that light and think that she'd be…
Highlight of the episode, In terms of funny content, anyway.
I was building up that, but then when it actually happened I didn't have a problem. I mean, it wasn't great, but the only awkward parts were when Marnie almost lost her nerve once or twice and her voice wobbled. (Pretty fantastic acting on her part).
That said, I think the bug moving around on its long legs looks amazing. That's not CGI, that's prosthetics. I always thought so anyway.
Taking The Stone is probably one of the strongest episodes of early season 2. I'm always surprised that people don't like it very much. Then again, I prefer I, ET to Exodus From Genesis,, like That Old Black Magic and I'm a little more ambivalent about some of the minor episodes everyone likes, and enjoy some of the…
Yeah, that's what he said.
When you gederflip it like that, yeah, I can start to see a resemblance to reality. Unfortunately.
I'm glad to see that someone else is dissatisfied with Shoshana. She feels the most "sitcom" and unrealistic of the cast, as in I think it incredibly unlikely to find myself crossing paths with someone else like her.
And she was showrunner on at least Dexter's first season, (and possibly its second, I can't remember) before leaving them to work on the Twilight Franchise. Those were the only two out and out good seasons, as I recall.
Agreed, except that the UK version of the show suggested that while nearly everyone else was a puppet dangling on Urqhart's string, his wife was deftly playing him.
Wow, there's an anti-Reuben brigade? That's strange. I like the character.
Yeah, I thought this was the funniest episode in a while. Though I laugh more in Southland than I do in many, many other comedies. Probably one of the funniest shows on television.
