I wonder if one of the biggest problems dragging down the Lydia storylines (other than the repetitiveness) is Ruben, Dorian Missik is a fine actor, but it's been over a season and he's still basically a cipher.

And yet his accent is still Australian.

I echo the swing scene. That hit me right where I live. That moment where she confronts her father over his resenting her absence /lack of presence and yet his disinterest in connecting… that's something I've wanted to put into words for a long, long time. Of course, my father's a head strong blow-hard with a love

Anyone want to talk about the pair of guys in this episode? I thought that the scene where Jessa's step brother confronted Hannah was meant to imply that his blonde friend had absolutely no interest in him while the step-brother was harboring an unrequited crush.

I admit, I squeed myself a little when I heard he was going to be on the show.

He's Australian with his Australian accent, except for that part where he and Jessa were deliberately doing bad accents together.

I really fucking like it.

She spent the entire season waiting for a plot to emerge. There's set-up, and then there's purgatory.

Wouldn't be a surprise to find out that she'd killed someone else in the process. I think they just liked their corn imagery, instead of people with a side of corn.

Sofie's attack on Jonesy is something I can completely buy in the moment she did it. She shunned by the Carnival, ran away, was locked up, exposed to some horribly brutal revelations about herself, and then finally, _finally_ her old friends turn up to save her. It's too little too late for her, and fuck them.

That what I was thinking too. It's just too sad otherwise.
