The list is a major fail without Loretta Lynn's song Wings upon your horns,
(most Freudian country song ever?)

My favorite moment in the episode is when Carmela swishes in to Holsten's just as the music begins… it's theatrical (the leading lady coming on stage for her bows) and shouldn't work but I kind of tear up inside a little.

By the way, I forgot to mention that Pam and Tara guest star on Hillbilly Handfishin' before starting their own reality tv series Vampers and Stampers about vampire stamp collectors.

I love reading these comments because I actually read the script for the
final episode, but alas! I signed an NDA and can't share details. But I
will tell you that Eric has a threeway with Lafayette and Hoyt's mom and then he turns them into vampires and has sex with Nora and scowls a lot, and that's just the first

What I think is going on: Salome is trying to destroy the vampire population because she's part Fae (or her lady parts are bothering her, I don't know, I just think she's trying to get as many vampires as possible killed for her own ends.

It wasn't a carnival or circus (though performing animals were involved).  I wasn't a performer or roustie. Mostly I did box office (and other related mostly not very physical support stuff). It was the kind of experience you're glad to have but don't necessarily want to repeat …. ever.

I thought the idea of fireball show was to burn the locals (take them for everything you can) so bad that you can never go back to that town. I do like that they never really explain it.

I too love the Cootch family, Rita Sue especially is one of my favorite characters. I sometimes think she and Iris (another of my favorite characters on the show) are set up as opposites.

I hated Meadow far more than Janice (who I found likeable in an awful sort of way). Also, Janice often made me laugh and Meadow only made me one to slap her.

I wouldn't go that far. I found it more weird than disturbing and put it down to a combination of him trying to dry out (to better deal with Ben and Management), frustration and Lila's kicking him (metaphorically) when he's down. I had the idea it wasn't the first time he'd done something like that but that it wasn't

I think it makes sense and that Ruth is totally about taking in strays. She argued strongly for taking in Ben in the pilot.

I think he began just wanting to charm her to get he inside scoop and then he became genuinely interested - but once she rejected him he got over it pretty quickly.

Here late, but after rewatching I'm thinking the bartender is a ghost too. Why else would he try to leave every day and end up back at the bar at night?
