I asked David Lloyd at NYCC last year for his best Alan Moore story, and he told me that's he's really not as crazy as his legend makes him out to be and he's actually kind of boring.

Edgar Wright's The World's End comes out at the end of August. Anything he does is guaranteed cult classic.

Pretty much every mecha anime since Evangelion has ripped off Evangelion (except for continuations of older franchises like Gundam and deliberately "post-Evangelion" shows like Gurren Lagann). Seems silly to complain about a genre entry having similarities to one of the series that defined the genre. Also no depressed

So that's what that weird spot on Toonami was.

What would your number one be? Adventure Time, perhaps?

Season 2 had some lesser episodes but also some amazing ones. Go watch Lisa's Substitute again.

Explain why Korra gets great ratings then, and more particularly (since this it's one of the most suspicious things CN's done) why in 2008, when Naruto was the #1 show with kids 9-14, that CN stopped airing t in spite of its ratings.

I loved The Riechenbach Fall, so he clearly has some talent in him. Praying Monster for HBO turns out good under GDT's guidance.

Wasn't the time traveler in last week's episode black?

Ethical question: when a Netflix account is being shared by people, is it wrong to change someone's ratings on that account? Not lowering ratings for stuff they liked because that seems just mean, but if they've given a 2-star rating to, say, No Country for Old Men, a 5-star movie IMO, would it be acceptable to

Shocked I'm the first person to mention Toy Story 3.

Have you watched Ano Hana? The last episode of that is weapons-grade crying material.

Spike is always one the anime characters speculated to be Jewish (the last name, the fro, and the Israeli gun are the biggest evidence for), but he is supposedly based off that actor @avclub-ba51e6158bcaf80fd0d834950251e693:disqus mentioned. Given it's a post-Earth future and all, it's highly probable he's some sort

Speaking of the finale, Toonami's sudden final broadcast (at the time) made great use of Steve Blum and referencing that last word: http://www.youtube.com/watc…

Cartoon Network's current management seems to have a weirdly illogical vendetta against action cartoons. TTG gets more better timeslots than YJ because it's a comedy.

And Avatar: The Last Airbender/Legend of Korra, and everthing Bruce Timm's done, and for that matter the 2003 Teen Titans cartoon.

Cowboy Bebop's is better.

There is a lot of good Flash out there. Motorcity, Superjail, and the movies Waltz with Bashir and Sita Sings the Blues are the cream of the crop IMO. This… isn't.

At least Samurai Jack has a complete DVD release and reruns on Boomerang. MEGAS XLR can't even air on Cartoon Network anymore because of some tax write-off thing they did and all we got is iTunes downloads.

Why did the animation have to be so bad? I mean, I understand why they'd want to go with a comedy show based on the DC Nation shorts, but the shorts still had good traditional animation, not this cheap Flash junk.
