When are they giving RIckman his nomination? The last Harry Potter should have done it, but I guess the Academy wanted to keep ignoring all the great supporting turns in that series (Imelda Staunton and Jim Broadbent also had nomination-worthy turns in the 5th and 6th movies respectively).

I'm surprised Beasts of the Southern Wild wasn't considered an independent film. But I guess they knew it was so awesome they had to bump it onto the main list?

I'd see that, assuming he did it as an animated film because I don't know how Okami's style would translate into live-action without coming off as overly gimmicky.
