My crazy idea: Finn's a clone. Simon knew the world would need a hero to fight against the evil he was becoming under the crown's influence. Marceline kept Finn's DNA secure for hundreds of years before meeting Bubblegum and, using her science, created the clone Finn. As for why the original Finn was protected from

This comment just made me realize that more than a Wachowski Star Wars, I want a Wachowski No More Heroes movie, which would also have awesome lightsaber, err, "beam katana" fights but also satisfy their more experimental urges which Disney might not be so fond of for their new big franchise.

Brad Bird directing with Whedon as script editor is the most likely best case scenario I'm hoping for.

Wright would be my top pick out of those three. A GDT Star Wars would be awesome but the last thing he needs is another project on his plate to never get made. And Cuaron already has a space film coming out next year and he's generally not one to revisit the same sort of material, and beyond that my respect for him as

They're doing an original sci-fi epic Jupiter Ascending next, but seeing as Disney's gonna wanna pump out Star Wars movies until the end of time, I'd say their chances of doing Episode XI or so are pretty good.

So, cut those 6 hours into three neat 2 hour segments and voila! A trilogy! And if it costs billions of dollars, well, each film is gonna make at least a billion anyway, plus extra billions in merchandise, so smart investment.

Seems their method was they wrote every scene in the book on an index card and then spent a year shuffling the index cards around until they all fit together.

There's been quite a few ads on Adult Swim, even this special-made "paid celebrity endorsement" (I love that TOM the Toonami robot counts as a "celebrity"): http://www.youtube.com/watc…

I saw it yesterday. Theater was about a third full but everyone seemed really into it. I was really into it; IMO there's three great segments (Frobisher, Cavendish, and Sonmi), two very good ones (Ewing and Rey), and only one which gets a bit too over-the-top to really work but is still pretty fun to watch anyway if

Doesn't "kinetic" imply movement? Yu-Gi-Oh's kind of the opposite of kinetic. Even by TV anime standards, it's stiff, and I doubt the movie's a significant jump in visual quality.
