Acting like the auto makers are pushing for EVs is just wrong.  This is 100% pure capitalism full stop.  They’ve invested billions, want to turn that R&D into profit, and would LOVE the US Government to fund some of their battle against foreign rivals who similarly have been heavily incentivized. 

Sue Musk for what, what “harm” has he done them. If anything every other competitors shareholder should sue their CEO for NOT being Tesla.  Ridiculousness aside, shareholders can’t be disappointed in the company performance and have no grounds to say they’ve been harmed.

Not one automaker took a stand against Trump before the election.  It’s a little bit late to try and protect their investment now.
