Well to be fair, he’s been a remarkably terrible president so far.

You need to keep in mind that there are other factors that Apple does not control that impact the longevity of a product they make. Something as obvious as web standards comes to mind. The iPhones 5 was designed for the online world of 2012. That world hasn’t changed, and even I feel Apple chose to support it…
