Yup. The Kid is a hero for sure, but there’s no technology story here.

Huh? Why should it be illegal? Who is harmed?

I wasn’t assuming you were talking about yourself. Sorry for any confusion there.

Can someone tell me why other people are posting articles that used to be generated by the Casey Chan? Did they take it offline?

Incorrect. Minimum wage jobs are what unemployed workers with no other experience are faced with.

I guess? Your case is that the Samsung tablet in this article is based on the iPad that is based on the surface? As long as we agree that the surface is based on the original iPad I suppose you’re right.

And it continues. No substance, just flirting. A/S/L?

Dumb statement. Why do people insist on using hypotheticals that can never be verified in an attempt to make a point?

What happened to Casey Chan? Did they take it offline?

And you still haven’t addressed what I’ve said. Because you know you’re wrong. And you keep flirting with me for some reason as well.

Yup. Stick to the facts. There are PLENTY!!

Yup. You’ve got nothing, as expected. Carry on.

Yup. There certainly were, no question. But when people discuss tablets in 2017 they are referring to products from the original iPad forward. The pre-iPad era had no real impact on what we use today. Apple didn’t invent tablets (though they’ve never claimed to), but they did popularize them.

Your level of ignorance and lack of reading comprehension are now approaching legendary status.

It’s always entertaining to watch someone who obviously doesn’t know what they’re talking about and has no facts to back up their misguided opinion. Rather than refute opposing statements and point to some shred of evidence, they resort to what they consider to be insults:

I’m not sure why you talk like a southern belle, but no judgement.

You’re the only person using the word “invent”. That might be your first problem.

Nothing at all wrong with that. The Denon line is solid, they just don’t offer what I needed.

They didn’t invent tablets, but they defined what modern tablets look like from the form factor to the type of OS. Was there any product similar to the iPad when it was launched? How many were there a year after launch?

Well to be fair, the original iPad defined what tablets are today. Sure, Samsung had a stylus first, but the original iPad predates any Samsung made tablet
