+1 for Picasa. I miss it when I use my MacBook.

Spaces and virtual desktops help when monitor size is limited but nothing beats the ability to have two documents up on the screen at the same time.

@GBMax: This happened to me this week. My MacBook Seagate died 1 year and 28 days after purchase. I took it to the local Apple Store and they are replacing the drive for me. I should get it back sometime this week.
