Well, I guess everyone is allowed to have their own opinion of what looks nice. I don't think I've ever seen (up to and including this Prada nonsense) a stock smartphone GUI of any kind that appeals to me. Fortunately, GUIs are just pictures that can be changed.

If there's a social network feature that can't be done easily from my phone, it doesn't exist for me. Everywhere that I've ever traveled in the US your electric service is completely separate from your telephone service. So you can use the phone when just the power is out, unless you only have cordless phones since they need to have their bases plugged in to work.

+1 I'd like to know this too, since my next phone (when my contract is up in about a year) will be an LTE phone. Unless, of course, the grandfathering doesn't work 3G to 4G. That would likely make me consider other carriers.

If you have stuff on your smartphone that you don't want other people to see, you should have it passworded and encrypted. I think it's rude when people try to show me their crappy photos on their crappy little phone screen. NO, I don't want to see your kid/cat/last bowel movement (yes, it's happened). Manners issues
