Same as it ever was: “Woke corporations” don’t exist. They are bowing to public sentiment in order to keep maximizing profits on their existing IP. That it happens to be the correct thing to do is incidental. The bottom line is The Bottom Line, always and forever.

It’s about money.

“Hot take”

I’m a proud rememberer of being an AV Club commenter who didn’t have embedded video follow her as the scrolled down the page.

Get O’Shea on the court and he’s trouble. Last week O’Shea messed around and got a triple double. I mean, he’s well known for freaking brothers everyway like MJ.

Well, in this case, the first step was to stab the victim (by saddling the company with even more debt through the buyout) before trying to stop the bleeding.

He should be canceled just for those godawful puns in his titles.

And who could forget at the end, when Willy Wonka declares: “I have had it with these motherfucking children in this motherfucking factory!”

Now do Piers Anthony!

Thank goodness... Charlie and the Chocolate Factory just isn’t the same without Charlie’s catchphrase: “Fuck, that’s some good cock-sucking chocolate!”

Also, they unleashed this pile of brand-intensive nonsense, which someone presumably got paid an ungodly amount of money to write: “Additionally, there has been an increase of global franchise fan engagement overall with Wizarding World Digital garnering 300% higher traffic over the normal monthly unique visitor

Lightyear is a movie in the Toy Story Universe. Tar is a fictional film about a composer.

I wonder sometimes if there’s just one Extremely Divorced Guy on here with lots of accounts, or if AV Club is just the new hot hangout for bitter divorcees.

A fake composer featured in a faux-biopic claimed to train under a real composer in the film. The real composers family decided to roll with it and announce the character really did train under their father as a joke, despite the fact that this entire movie is completely fictional.

This article absolutely nails the deep deep conflict I feel between wanting to watch Succession knowing full well a shitty rerun of Blue Bloods may be airing at the same time. Eep!
