Nailed it. I watched my sales manager at that Italian brand tell a very high profile attorney to go f himself. When someone is in our house, it’s our rules. Piss us off and you don’t get a car.

Again, you’re wrong. A dealer can not keep your money if you don’t buy a car...it’s against the law.
As a former rider, you guys are fucking ASSHOLES. Get a life, and get off the freeways. People with jobs are trying to get to them, kids are trying to get to school, an sick people are trying to get to hospitals. Who the hell do you think you are? I hope the judge throws the book at you, hard.
The big difference is in modern car sales the guys who produce numbers like this have multiple assistants helping them with orders, paperwork, inventory, etc...Girard did it all on his own. Not exactly comparing apples to apples.
Correct...and it makes the smart less cool kids bust their asses in life to achieve goals that will get them into the cool club. No one is entitled to the spoils.
You’re correct...and I gave an example of a regular brand vs a highline brand.
Well, if you’re an asshole...
Since that’s illegal in Texas, you’re going to need a stronger argument than that.
No different than a customer putting a deposit on an incoming car and then deciding not to buy. It goes both ways. I worked for many years for an Italian brand whose logo had a black horse on a yellow background, and if we didn’t like you we didn’t sell you a car. Having money doesn’t entitle you to a vehicle.
Meh.
We all know how the Murano worked out for Nissan.
It’s completely true. Every manufacturer has their own incentives, but you’ll find different discounts for leasing versus buying. The brand that I work for usually has better lease cash because that’s how we sell 59% of our vehicles.
Nailed it.
Saturday Night Live nailed it.
Wrong. Every manufacturer has different incentive/factory money for the dealer depending on if the buyer is leasing or financing.
You’re right, because let’s take Nissan...they have to put the car on a boat and sail, let’s see, half way across the planet. Once it gets to the US then it has to be inspected. After that, put on a train and delivered to a rail station in the state of destination. Once the car arrives to the destination city/state…
Agreed on that...I’ll take a single cylinder with a stick over any CVT any day. lol
If losing 25% of your engine isn’t important to you, then I guess not. Just seems weird to me.
Mini also has a 1.8L turbo 4cyl making almost 200hp...there’s a difference.
Because it’s common nowadays for a top salesman to have multiple assistants working under them. Girard did it all solo, whereas Reda probably had a lot of help. I won’t be shocked if the sales are legit, but when you have three people working under you to do all of your paperwork so you can focus on customers, that’s…
