Actually quite the opposite. But if you knew the internals and mechanics of the 400i and Mondial, you’d understand why I wouldn’t touch one with a 10' cattle prod.

I worked for Ferrari for many years...there was always a POS 400i in there getting “restored.” These fools were dumping more into those cars than they’ll ever be worth for “emotional value.”

Go ahead and buy one...preferably with a bad transmission. A purist will want to replace said trans with a factory piece, which will more than double your initial investment.

After dating a girl with one, I wouldn’t recommend one of these under powered, soft braking, horrible handling, cheaply accommodated, pieces of crap even for a 16 year old’s first car.
