Who's naked in Inland Empire?
Who's naked in Inland Empire?
I found her a little easy to recognize because I remembered her from Damages.
People sleep on it here, but he did some of his best acting on the last season of Ballers.
When he said he'd never do comedies, people were seemingly insistent that he couldn't pull it off, but he can do it in small doses (Interstellar has some really humorous moments as well). I prefer that type of approach from dramas. The one example I always use is Collateral, Michael Mann delivers some really funny…
Ah yes, the one where Tony Schiovane said there are "millions" in attendance, IE they had no clue since it was on an open public beach.
Good as he is in comedies, I really prefer him more in serious stuff. He has a nice scene in The Thin Red Line with Sean Penn, talking about how numb the experience of the war was to him.
You got that right.
She's particularly good in Bringing Out The Dead.
There's something relentlessly bleak about it, which I like. It's very evocative of the decade in some regards.
I watched this again recently. Most of the music works for me, even the Rammstein. But I don't know, once that Smashing Pumpkins song starts, it feels like it's about to break into a video. And I like their stuff. Just didn't feel right for me, in what's otherwise a great movie.
He's hit or miss when it comes to song-writing, but everything else he does usually compensates.
Awesome song though, no matter who sings it, if it's John Fogerty or someone who I think sounds like the musical equivalent of a squeaky door.
Cameron did almost cast OJ as the Terminator
It was a real joy to watch him steal the show at WWE for awhile.
My impression was, from seeing documentaries, that the doping didn't start until the early 90's.
Can't help but read the headline in David Mitchell's voice.
Tim was almost going to be Iron Man, though I think that could have been a situation like Bob Hoskins was in during The Untouchables pre-production, when they had him in if De Niro wasn't going to do it.
During one of the shootouts you can see him standing up walking through it. That, apparently, is something his real-life counterpart did with the thinking that it made no difference if he was shot standing up or in a crouched position.
He became a much better lead guitarist once Keith Moon died. Some of his best playing was while Entwistle was still alive and Zak Starkey was on drums.
So many of my favorites have been mentioned already, but I'll just mention the following guitarists who I love, some of whom may not be known too well by some here. Andy Latimer, Terje Rypdal, Gary Moore, John McLaughlin, Steve Hackett, John Petrucci, and Mikael Akerfeldt.
