Congratulations- you have no idea what it’s like to be at the lowest levels of depression, but you’ve spouting off about it anyway.

That’s horrible. I understand where you’re coming from, but mental illness doesn’t work that way. You can’t blame people like that. Well, I guess you can, but it isn’t fair. I’ve known a lot of people who have killed themselves and I and others have been hurt by it every time. But never did I have such scorn for them.

People with children are not allowed to have crippling depression. Got it. Thanks for that. I’ll keep it in mind.

Like Kate Spade and countless others, this just goes to show you that depression and suicide knows no boundaries. Bourdain lived a life most of us will only live vicariously by watching him and others travel the world.

NBA Stan oddly decided to put a personal stake in celebrating and defending LeBron’s legacy. Once it became apparent that Golden State’s dominance was going to infringe on that legacy, the degree to which will be argued until the Internet consumes itself whole, they quickly turned on them. At this point, the only

Granted Mr. Prince’s credentials as a force to be reckoned with, does that make the existence of a real unreleased diss track more or less likely? To my mind that makes it more likely that he’s bullshiting to help Drake save face after ordering him to drop it. The iron hand in the velvet glove.

J Prince only tells the truth to law enforcement. Get off that snitch ass niggas dick. J Prince knows nothing and hasn’t been relevant outside of Houston in almost 20 years. Fuck outta here.

On the other hand, sometimes if you watch with the captions on you finally get to understand the lyrics of a song. When “The Americans” did a “Goodbye Yellow Brick Road” (season finale of Season 5?) I finally learned what the lyrics were actually saying (“...hunting the horny back towwwwd...”

“And while I’m here giving faint praise to a series that was totally revered and a series finale that got rave reviews, let me just also point out that I thought Nirvana had a few okay songs and Daniel Day Lewis has his moments in certain films.”

I agree, this trope was murdered the minute The Shield set a edgy dramatic montage to “Bawitaba” by Kid Rock and it’s kind of amazing its still a thing

Yeah, but the opening ten minutes of the pilot set to Tusk hooked me on that show from the start. Haven’t seen the finale, I hope it ended with them all blowing their brains out over the ending of Rocky IV, but I feel they always did a good job integrating 80's music into the show.

The finale already had one sequence that went 15-20 minutes without dialog (or at least it felt that way). So, I can see why they chose to use music for another sequence instead of doing another stretch without any talking. Or, they could have just made a loop of the sounds of all the characters swallowing and

So how did you feel about the use of “Tusk” in the first episode of The Americans?

That song/scenes in the Americans finale was one of the best scenes in the whole series. I dislike that band but the song was perfect for those scenes.

The final one for The Americans was torture.

“Counting Cars” is the worst song of this century. True or Really True?

So, tell us about your lawn. Can we stand on it? Would that bother you?

Awful, awful take.

I liked Garden State. And I also liked the movie where the guy from How I Met Your Mother (not Jason Segal, or NPH, the Josh one) taught at a college in the midwest and slept with his student. I like solemn musical sequences on t.v as well.

Gentle reminder: The only good fight stories are the ones where you lose. Everything else is just ego masturbation, and you might as well end by saying “People are saying a lot of BAD THINGS about what happened to the other guy. Sad.”
