My post from last year:

What you didn’t consider:

I see a similarity..........

I saw one of the Tojan Pontiacs at a new car show in the mid ‘80's. My friend that was with me scoffed at the ridiculous pricing, having just helped spec and price a new Firebird for his sister. By the end of the afternoon, he kept referring to it as the Pontiac Toe Jam.

have enough left over to build a garage

I’m sure you’ll agree that the 9 speed DCT is incredibly fast, and nothing to complain about. Sadly, the days of rowing your own gears is nearly behind us.

It’s a poor choice to spend that amount of money on a Supra.

I’m sure it will mostly be a garage/trailer queen. But..... some day it will be driven.

The NSX was just an example. I’d have a difficult time deciding what to buy if I was spending this amount on my next vehicle(s). But, I do know that I’d rather have a fleet of motorcycles than an old Supra.

I “built” this NSX, not over the top, but sensible upgrades. It came out to $173,700. Go to the dealer, write a check, and wait several weeks. That’s all it takes.

I’m not really comparing the cars, rather what a rational person could have purchased with the money. The people who make these decision are not rational, just wealthy.

OK. Maybe this instead:

True, but still insane.
