Ground clearance that is less than the Legacy sedan and WRX and STI is much too low for any crossover, wannabe or otherwise.
Buick wants buyers to think of it as a crossover, otherwise they wouldn’t be selling it with 20mm raised suspension and added the ruggedized look.

According to this M/T test, the 2018 Toyota Corolla XSE 0-60 time is 9.9 seconds, and they still sell very well.

Black plastic exterior cladding does not make it an Outback competitor. It only has 5.8 inches of ground clearance, compared to the Outback’s 8.7" and 2018 V60 Cross Country’s 7.9". The Golf Alltrack has 6.9" of ground clearance, and defunct Venza had 8.1". Buick needs to understand that you can’t compete against…
