I remember seeing the Pontiac Banshee concept car at a car show in 1988 and being told that it was 90% of the next gen Firebird. You can imagine my disappointment in 1989.
The original Pontiac Trans Port design was more first gen Previa and less dustbuster. Also, note the name on the mock up was Grand Van, which most likely got changed due to the Grand Caravan.
