I played with the Galaxy S III for a couple of hours (friend lent me it to test out). how come there are still hiccups in the UI? it should be buttery smooth by now. it should have the hardware GPU acceleration. there's no excuse.

PSN+... the network that goes down all the time for maintenance? the one where you're just renting games? If I lose my job, I can keep playing my games without XBL. With PSN+, they're all gone. Why does XBL need to be free? That's what your Playstation is for. That's why we have multiple consoles.

Gabe is crying that developers might prefer releasing their title in Windows Store rather than Steam. Gabe, there's enough room for multiple marketplaces... Even without Windows Store in the picture, EA is pushing Origin, Ubisoft is pushing UPlay, GOG, etc.

man, it's pretty obvious you haven't played Halo 4. you should try it. Youtube doesn't cut it (anyone that's ever published to Youtube knows how bad their transcoder is to try to conserve bandwidth).

they should bring the netflix app from the xbox over to windows 8. now that was really a slick app. With the Kinect, you can grab the slider with your hand and start playback on almost exactly what scene and frame you want. no more 1x, 2x, 4x, etc. scanning like the VCR days. It's really cool.

I love my Eneloops. best batteries ever... super dependable and long charges. these batteries just keep on ticking while my other rechargeables stopped holding charge after awhile.

I'm a terrible online player and barely have gotten into Halo 4 multiplayer (just started). I'm only level 19, but I definitely held my own in online multiplayer. I didn't get my arse handed to me like in COD or worse yet, Halo Reach. Halo Reach really slaughtered me.
