I don’t see how the studios and AI don’t win in the end. If you have a new animated series you want to produce why pay a voice actor when you can generate acceptable voices from scratch with AI for free?

What is missing from the article is some sense of just how much radiation people were exposed to. Similar to Chernobyl today or Chernobyl post disaster?

The few times I’ve cheaped out on tools I’ve always regretted it. So I always buy quality so that I have no regrets. Harbor Freight has its place for some things (non tool stuff like zip ties) though I’d never again buy anything there that is powered.

Anyone can make the argument that ‘we want to use it too’ with anyone’s trademark. They had the trademark fair and square. They should have been able to keep it.

I don’t understand why dark stars can only be represented by distant light from the early universe. Why can’t dark stars exist just a few light years away in our own neighborhood?

I can’t really recall the last time I drank water from the tap. Maybe 40 years ago? Have never trusted it. My last car was 6-7 years old with low mileage and was affordable and still had a lot of conveniences and tech. I think the last new car I bought was 30 years ago. On the other hand, a new car’s depreciation is really just on paper if you plan to just keep the car for 10-15 years. Not that big of a deal to me.

I’ve had much of this for 20 years with PowerDesk. It’s interesting that Windows still struggles to keep up.

Curious if the company is still in business, and if not, what THIS company is going to do differently. Also, if one gives you a 20% savings, then would two give you 40%? How about 5 and skip the fossil fuels altogether.

I don’t know what the show runners of Season 6 of Black Mirror were thinking, but WTH? The only episode that was decidedly Black Mirror-esque was the first one. Talk about bait and switch. I didn’t even bother watching ep 5. What a kick in the gonads and disrespect for their audience.
