I’ll go ahead and jump this off with my unpopular opinion. “but Clark’s death is bigger than him and the unsavory things he tweeted three years ago.” This is true...but when do Black women get our time to make our issues bigger than everyone else? We’ve been marching and protesting for everyone else since the…
Cardi’s new album is good. It’s not going to change the world, but it doesn’t have to. Sometimes we just need some good music you can vibe to, and even if she’s not the most gifted lyricist, I still like her delivery and her swag, and it’s just nice to have a good album with some good rap music with an authentic…
She has SUCH an iconic look (nothing like that mess above), it really shouldn’t be difficult. Darkening your skin is a lazy cop out for people with no real creativity.
I nom on my own kids. But, like, I pretend to eat their sweet, soft, chubby cheeks. I don’t actually gnaw on them. And I have never nommed on a fellow adult.
Meghan’s half-sister is pretty bad but her step-sisters are worse.
I love the Black Panther movie and I’m proud of what it stands for... but watching these people pour their hearts out to a billboard is giving me extreme secondhand embarrassment. Also, fuck Jimmy Fallon.
Rubio’s sad broken face during this townhall gives me so much pleasure.

They can’t even bob their heads on beat.
If they had enough culture and creativity to produce anything cool then they wouldn’t need to steal from us.
I can’t believe you managed to dodge that bullet so long only to get shot anyways.
that’s pretty much the standard response i’ve been getting when i tell people this.
I just watched the documentary Step on a plane this weekend (Qantas), and it was FANTASTIC. Instead of watching this movie, just go watch Step instead.
Some people are allowed to start a business. Other people are arrogant to dare, apparently.
But...why is is something to laugh at if it fails? Why does everyone want it to fail? I have no interest in it and would never use it, but the glee that it might not be successful is something I can’t imagine over iTunes or a similar service. There’s clearly something more behind it than just disinterest.
MARY J. BLIGE got TWO nominations! One for Supporting Actress! And she sang ‘Mighty River’ that was nominated (Though Raphael Saadiq wrote the music, she helped write the lyrics!)
