So no, the 5% of Black people who didn’t vote for Clinton didn’t lose the election. The overwhelming majority of white people who did vote for Orange did that.

For people who think this country has come so far since the days of legal segregation, what’s the difference between situations like this and the times when black children were banned from white only playgrounds?

It’s fun and unifying to have a mega-talented entertainer with the broad appeal of Beyonce. She’s our common ground. Our Breakfast at Tiffany’s, if you will! Wanting to be part of something as grand and widespread as Beyonce fandom is easy and completely understandable.

Maybe I just come off as someone who would be a terrible mother because I have never felt pressured to have kids. Which is kind of funny because I actually really do want kids. But I’ve never had a family member/coworker/doctor/friend make me feel like I should.

I enjoy her because she has a nice voice and range. Her style is completely 90s which bridges the 80s and 00s artists. In the height of her fame, that was very much what people wanted to hear - and apparently still do considering the crappy music that comes out now from pop groups. It’s interesting how little empathy people have for mental illness when the sufferer looks like Azealia. If she were...different, somehow...I just get the feeling the attitude towards a young woman with obvious mental issues would be more forgiving. You know, like with Lindsay Lohan and her drug problem.
