For me, it's not so much that the current ones are bad...it's that Apple can do SO MUCH BETTER. There are so many different ways to do notifications that are less intrusive and multiple...and these are relatively crappy as they are now.

So just take one next time on your phone and put it on youtube. I just think that would be really funny to see.
@4n7h0ny: Video needed.
There is truly no correlation. Most of those items - especially the ones priced very high (antibacterial, detergent, nail polish, etc.) are not a) necessities b) used daily or c) needed in gallon quantities. People need gasoline to get around and use gallons of it at a time because that is what vehicles require. Let…
I've actually been looking for a good iPhone alarm clock / speaker combo for a while and this looks like it might be it. Haven't found any truly good ones. What do you guys think? Read it is only $100 w/ the free app. Has anyone heard it?
These are the most Gd-awful text message tones I could imagine. Why so long and so annoying? You want different short one-second sounds, not a phone that's going to cry until you pick it up. Still can't believe that Apple won't let us users make and select our own tones for texts. Pathetic.
I missed that flashlight app...but grabbed this one immediately!
Same as most of you...ordered a few weeks ago...set to arrive on 7/13. My buddy got an iPhone that has none of the aforementioned problems...at least that you can tell (signal-wise, screen-wise, etc.)...so I hope I get a clean one like his...
So I looked at my accounts and it says it is active...but I also happen to have an Outlook account on my phone and all of my notes are copying to there. It does not say in one way or another how to change this so they sync with Gmail or - gasp - both?! That would be fantastic. Please advise!
@Stevenk: If they are available at midnight...may not be until 8 or 9 a.m. (ET).
Why would ordering online from Apple not deliver on the 24th? It did for the 3G and 3GS. I know they are not guaranteeing that date...but that is simply so people don't get upset if there is a shipping error, I assume. I ordered from AT&T last year and got it a day late.
I pre-ordered my 3GS last year and am showing as eligible for a full upgrade on 02/19/2011. Perhaps you should change the title of this post...yeah...that's the ticket.
@Jes St.Lawrence: This is 1,000% exactly how I cook burgers EXCEPT the "pull and warp in foil" and "stand five minutes."
@kettlewhistle: Agreed - wrong word. Just a "sealable" trash bag would work.
@100percentinjuryrate: !!!!!
They also didn't have a tip off for the classic "The ball is tipped..." line. Instead CBS showed her mug.
I purchased three three-foot HDMI cables for $4.99 a few weeks ago and a six-foot HDMI cable for $1.99 a week later. They are all flawless. Even if they broke after a year (which they don't - just saying), you could keep buying them over-and-over again and it would STILL be cheaper.
You will find him...if he even exists. Story may have been a complete fabrication.
@ima221: Agreed.
@SwatLax: In the bedroom, yes. No worries, 52" Samsung on the way.
