I didn't like the episode very much, but the ending scene with Marshall and Barney talking about the slap so calmly after all the whole big deal the episode made the slap to be was genius and captured the feel of the show and of the whole situation so well for me. It almost made up for the rest of the episode.

For me it was a game, Silent Hill: Shattered Memories, which also was the first one of the franchise that I played. Best first impression ever. The narrative is thrilling, and it knows how to use its atmosphere to evoke the fear and despair the story needs. And the game knew how to use GAMEPLAY, and not only

… I actually liked this episode most than the rest of the season. Still wasnt great, though.

So then I took a minute to figure out why I enjoyed this episode, and I decided that more than liking this episode, I love this show.

(liked it better than the Robin has no female friends storyline IMO)

I kind of liked this episode, but the diabolus ex machina that is the character of Darrin let me with a sour taste. Sounded too easy of a way to make the gang talk about that stuff.

Wasnt the prank actually because of that? He felt bad for Robin not having a wedding in Canada and tried to make up for it.

I got it, i just don't think it can be brilliant and misogynistic at the same time, the second adjective is too troubling. Btw, i didn't find it misogynistic, so there's that

I somehow can't put misogynistic and brilliant together…

I was sure i would love this episode as soon as i knew about it. Gimmicky as it may be, there's no way i wouldn't find it fun as hell.

The idea of a entire season to show the wedding would be better if it was a shorter season. It's not a bad idea, but 24 episodes is just too much.
