You're right, that's all true. I was expressing more of a general objection to the practice of crowd-sleuthing, rather than a particular objection to this one. As I said to another poster, this is the same information an automotive expert might give the police if they had one to call (except this is cheaper); merely

Reasoned responses are always refreshing. Thanks. And I understand your point regarding just identifying the parts. This is the same function an automotive expert would perform if the law enforcement agency knew one to contact. I agree that this particular use of 'crowd-sleuthing' may be fairly benign. I was

I think your position is understandable given your history. I don't think internet crowd-sluething is a good idea as a general practice, but I can see where you're coming from.

internet-sleuthing makes me uncomfortable, especially for some random law enforcement agency halfway across the country. Even moreso when there is very little in the way of facts regarding the incident presented. Do I really want to participate in setting someone up for a felony prison stretch? Did they really

The influence of the far right in Ukraine was and is wildly, wildly overblown. So what if the west supported Ukraine throwing off their Russian overlords? What's your problem with that?

The radar pic is missing some info, but if it uses the usual scale, why were they even flying in that?

"Terror to the public..." WTF? Did you hear the housewife that called it in on the 911, she said herself she wasn't sure if there was a problem and she thought it just might be a kid. And he deserves to be fucking shot? I shot bottle rockets at cars at a kid, and expected a full-on thrashing from an authority

Yeah, that one. I'm a white southerner, and I know that when a kid is dead in less than 10 seconds from the police showing up, that there's a serious, serious, problem. BTW - if he was 18 instead of 12, he would have the right in most states to hold a real gun out in the open, and not have some jack-booted thug

It's not selfless at all. Do you actually believe for one second that they're 'giving away' these tickets? If you do, I have a nice bridge to sell you. This goes to overhead, and ticket prices or fees of some sort, will be adjusted proportionally to the number of law enforcement personnel that are provided tickets

FTFY

Whatever, dad. I guess we should have curfews and mandatory bed-times, too. I would have no problem moving the limit back up to .1 or even higher. Nobody is anywhere near drunk at .08.

I almost never say this, but this one's probably worth it.

New Orleans traffic isn't usually that bad compared to even small cities. Sure there's backups when there are accidents and things, and rush hour is slow, like it is everywhere, but my experience is that on the whole it's as good or better than anywhere else. I'm not sure how it got the 10-spot on your list.

But the White House has no control over this, and no ability to change it.. Shouldn't you be petitioning state legislators? A popular petition would probably make more impact on a bunch of local legislators than it would on national policymakers anyway.

See it's funny, because it's true.

Yeah, well, its ok and still relatively common after 30, too.

Roadhead is common and ok, but why limit it to under 30?

Because that never cheapened a brand.

Young - check. Urban - check. Professional - usually check. Different facial hair and dress, though.

Dude! I understand the point of the articles - look at all the great car you can get for the price of......
