I disagree. As a competitive gamer. part of the appeal of consoles is a streamlined experience that all players are equal in. Also, Optimization becaomes harder when you dont lock the goals/specs.

That is a straight up lie. The amount of effects and characters/cars on screen with no frame drop gets insane. Its not always resolution and textures. I played the best looking games of both gens. The things that happen at high speed on the new consoles while maintaining the graphical quality is whats pushing hardware…
