Sure, but Trump also has an extensive history of saying not conservative things. Which ones are we supposed to believe? The long history of not being conservative or the recent pivot to trick dumb voters?

This is a weak take of a far better and more interesting piece of writing.

If you can’t understand there is a difference between Republicans and Conservatives, you probably shouldn’t write about politics.

I firmly believe that kneeling/sitting for the anthem is honoring the troops, it is electing to use that freedom so many have died to protect. What’s more ‘MURICAN than intentionally doing something you know will piss people off?

That was really beautiful, Drew. Thank you for sharing. As a non-parent, that really helped me gain some perspective on how some of my friends view their dual role as protector and toughener for their kids. So valuable.
