Isnt that engine both Turbo And Supercharged?
Isnt that engine both Turbo And Supercharged?
Actually, the cylinder count plays a very little role. and what role it does play is advantageous for the Harley.
Yeah it really isn’t apples to apples. The engines were designed with different purposes. Harley wants alot of low end torque because its great for cruising, and because their bikes are heavy as fuck.
I grew up in love with Harleys. I was confident a sportster would be my first bike.
Cant you buy an entire 120hp motorcycle brand new for the price of that engine alone?
For the money just get another ‘04 and put a roof tent on it.
1.) Thats pretty dubious. Because I’m pretty sure thats technically illegal. How many BRZ owners are there that really had both and took accurate measurements? and of course changing a TUNE can impact mpg’s. May as well change your engine. The ECU is part of the engine. show me something where they changed the car…
Bland Car.
I’d bet the ‘Vette motor would get even less in that super duty. a 2.0L Turbo Even Less. The problem here is the car, not the motor.
Gotta play devils advocate here.
I can’t imagine many Vette owners will be using their cars too much in stop and go traffic.
“Look, We know we don’t pay you enough to actually live a good life. But we pay you enough to make it Look like you live a good life. We’re going to need you to go ahead and do that now.”
I did talk about power under the curve. LFA has 90% peak torque for a ~50% wider span of its powerband compared against an LS.
Innate “under the curve” power is innately better on the LS motor.
You can wrench on your car in Germany... I work for a German company and have spent extensive time in Germany. I have car/bike friends over there.
This was my same sentiments exactly.
What happens when you break down Outside of North America??
Before I begin, let me say two things. I own an LS. I am an automotive engineer.
There’s obviously something peculiar about that.
1.) This will become the modern-day equivalent of big chrome grilles. The colour of your guards will let people in the streets know that your Challenger is brand spankin’ new (nevermind the decades long history in its chassis)
