Hearted! Great to see porn critics here— we're somewhat of the minority here on Jezebel.

Thank you for the response. Much more eloquent than my post. I completely agree with you.
I saw someone mention elsewhere the fact that this took place in a disadvantaged school. It would've never went down like that in an affluent suburb. It really seems like the kids were being used as props, and it displays how the level of guidance in a poor school contrasts with that of a wealthier school.
Short of you having a chronic infection of some sort that is making you taste odd, I really doubt it's you. Some men just have issues about it, for a variety of reasons. One of the reasons being that it's much more taboo than a guy receiving a blow job (see the discussions about the NC-17 rating of Blue Valentine!)
Love this post! And the picture accompanying it is too perfect, ha. I think it's so hot when a guy goes down on me.
I'm not in Compton (opposite coast) but I've volunteered with inner city children, actually, reading to and tutoring them, so I'm not sure what you're getting at.
Thank you. Being critical of the porn industry's involvement in this event does not automatically make you a repressive Puritan.
I agree that sex ed and discussing sexual issues is healthy. However, if it's true that it's been turned into "Porn Week," I can't really argue with the opponents. Many feminists find porn to be extremely problematic, and it does nothing to encourage healthy discourse about sex.
You don't see the difference between getting milk and being a porn actress who volunteers with children and then posts it all over her facebook page? Because again, as I've been saying over and over again, she has to be brain dead if she thought that it wouldn't cause a ruckus.
Just wanna say I agree with you.
Same here, hah.
My mom tried to spank me once when I was a kid. My grandmother went ballistic- "DON'T YOU DARE RAISE A HAND TO MY GRANDDAUGHTER."
We went to school during a different time. It's much easier now for kids to find this stuff, unfortunately.
I'll still vote for Obama over Cain even if he sets a baby on fire. You do you, Obamz.
Yes, let's put words in my mouth.
I know you're trying to be offended, but it's so obvious that she knew that at least some of the parents would know who she is, and many probably wouldn't be too delighted if their kids found out what she did for a living. Teachers are held to extremely fucking high standards, and naturally, most parents would…
So then why does she need to publicize it? Again, she had to have known that people would not be happy about it, and she'd get a ton of attention as a result.
But you wouldn't find it problematic that Grey's yammering about this is causing a media shitstorm, which will likely cause the kids to wonder what the hell the fuss is about? It's not like she did a lovely nude scene a la Kate Winslet in Titanic, she participates in violent and degrading porn. I would not want…
But kids get curious and Google/talk about these things. I wouldn't be delighted if any celebrity came to my kid's school and turned it into a photo op; but Jennifer Aniston has never been in a violent porno so googling her would be relatively innocuous.
I agree with you. People make mistakes, and Kutcher sure sounded like a moron, but he's handling it much better than most people would.
