That’s awesome! Me and my husband are watching Moana right now and we were discussing how great it is that there is more diversity and how important representation is. I love that kids will have so many different types of characters to look up to and relate to.

That’s awesome. I haven’t seen the show in a while but I used to watch it often with kids when I was a nanny. They always loved it. And I had a bit of a crush on “Scott the Paleontologist,” but that’s entirely beside the point.

This is good! Now if they would just dump Elmo, who trivializes and annoys in every scene he’s in, which seem to be most of them. Or did back when I couldn’t take any more of him and stopped watching.

Parts of it look really compelling (the more understated parts), and then just as many of the clips seemed to have a good bit of overwrought scenery chewing. Worse, the scientific community made millions on developments from her cells, and her descendants lived in poverty, obscurity, and without adequate healthcare until the proceeds from Skloot’s book.
