My poor Rosco also survived the initial impact. Thankfully he didn’t last too long. I was on the phone with a friend/vet to make an emergency run to my house to euthanize him but it wasn’t necessary. It was still terrible.

Thank you. I miss him everyday, but as with all grieving, it does get better with time.

It’s a different situation, but a little over a year ago I ran over my dog in my driveway and killed him. It was 100% a terrible accident. My logical brain knows that. My lizard brain still hates me for it.
