Corvette has had one engine failure in what, 15 years at Le Mans? Their 7 liter engine had zero issues staying together.

Nothing. The Vette can't even run the same engine as the street car because of the rules. If they were allowed to race the 700hp ZR1 spec car they wouldn't be five seconds off the pace because the ACO wanted drama. The Vette has been neutered by the rules and they left GT1 because no one could keep up for the last few

They’ve been competitive because they have had to really work on their strategy. They've been needed big time in performance and they have to hope the other teams fuck up enough. That's not racing, that's hanging around waiting for scraps.

HURR DURR I don’t understand what sandbagging is and that rules are not always applied without bias. HURR DURR.

Because it did nothing to slow them down, and since they haven't made a single GT and sold it to the public that car has no place in the GT ranks. It's a car you can't buy, that's against the rules. It shouldn't even be one the track.

Just shut the fuck up about it already.

You can't buy a Ford GT. It's not a legal GT car. This was nothing but publicity. This years race was a farce.

Not to mention the fact that they haven't even built the GT. You can't buy one. It's not a legal race car in my opinion.

The “cool down" lap is the final lap. They crossed when the timer was up, but to be classified as a finisher you have to do the parade lap at the end. It's a bullshit rule. They raced and finished the 24 hours.

You’re happy he crashed because BoP changes caused them to be almost 5 seconds per lap slower than the sandbagging Fords? Are you an moron by choice? Why the fuck would you be happy to see someone crash?

That is absolutely amazing.

There's plenty of chances for them to drill through at least one Corvettes door in 24 hours. They've done it twice this season already, they've got a whole day of racing to take at least one of the Vettes out.

When have they ever picked up 5 seconds a lap due to a BOP change? Go ahead and look that up, I'll wait.

They sound like shit? The GT class is know for its difference in awesome engine sounds. That and the Corvettes have never sounded like shit. Ever.

It looks like that's exactly what happened. There's absolutely no way they were making setup decisions that cost them almost five seconds a lap unless they were running with five pounds of air in each tire.

That's true but they improved almost 5 seconds a lap. That's absurd and not just due to BOP changes.

Why waste time removing that fuel tank just to install a different one? It makes no sense to do that and it's a normal spot to put one on a sprint cart like that.

Such a stupid sentiment. This cliche bullshit gets trotted out every time there's a near death accident in racing. It's much easier to say this behind a keyboard than behind the wheel. There's not a single driver of any kind that would say that they're fine with being an inch from death at all times. Safety and

What a fucking idiotic leap of logic.

The reason they look boring is because they are being blatantly ripped off by every other car maker. Their styling has been copied so much that they are looking like everything else. Not their fault other makers can't come up with their own original designs.
