Playing Devil’s advocate, my question would then be, “Does a creator owe anything to the heritage of the project”? Many of those up in arms seem to take exception that this writing agenda just doesn’t fit within the universe and previously established mythos. Is this a valid criticism or completely without merit and

You’re right, you not understanding the meaning of words is my fault. Man, I gotta go back to argumentation school.

It kinda is though. She can write whatever she wants. Back to the dictionary, maybe?

Creativity can suffer from pushing any point or agenda to an extreme. However having a point to make does not neccesarily make any piece of writing better or worse. I think it all comes down to whether the story the writers are telling is a story that they want to tell. If a writer wants to talk about LGBT issues with

Fuck yourself, bigot.

Game Maker: “We have listened to fan complaints and have changes some aspects of our game accordingly.”

So GGs were complaining about censorship in Nintendo games, and now want Baldur’s Gate to be censored.

Wait, are people trying to tell the developers of a game what the characters that the developers created should be doing?

The one thing I really loved about the Force Awakens was that everyone felt so human. They reacted to things like normal people would. They hugged, they got annoyed with each other (my favorite moment is when Rey is trying to get Finn to get the right tool for her), they got nervous, they did stupid little quirky

I love Subnautica, and I like the lack of lethal weaponry. The non-lethal methods are effective for surviving encounters but still keep the tension of having to try and survive them. If you can just go out and start killing the big beasties it just makes it a bit ho-hum.

Game dev says no guns, sounds pretty open and shut the community can either enjoy it for what it is or look for a different game.

Judging by the box office numbers I think most people have seen it at this point.

I’m not sure I understand what you are arguing in regards to BvS. What is no different exactly? Could you clarify?

The criticism of Marvel’s house style is more or less on point. But it seems absurd to level the criticism that everything is too funny when Christopher Nolan’s Batman movies brooded their way to a giant haul of cash at around the same time that the Marvel approach came together. BvS is not daring to be different;

As a DC and Batman fan, I am not associated with those people who claim to be fan and say “This movie is amazing! Marvel idiots just don’t get it!” Also here:

This is a terrible excuse for a hot take about a movie that’s got as much depth and value as Atlas Shrugged.
