I just checked out the NDRC website. In addition to donating, I’d like to contribute longterm, but don’t understand what is needed from volunteers. Do you have any info? The website is sort of bare bones.

First, the Republicans will always try to frame this as a matter of “school choice.” That is bullshit. We’ve always had “school choice”. People can send their kids to public school, private school, or homeschool. America does NOT need to be cheating our public school system to instead fund private businesses.

Multiple articles over the decades have described Trump’s offices and homes as being decorated with many framed pics of Trump (often from magazine covers) rather than family photos featuring his many kids, wives, and other family members. That’s not....normal.

Thanks to Jerry Falwell Jr., there are a lot of racist, xenophobic Evangelicals in my hometown who voted for Trump. They did so out of the truly insane reasoning that Trump is “God’s vessel” to return our country to its “Christian roots”. They emphasize that Trump should be forgiven for his unChristian past and say…

“During the times I hope they get exactly what they voted for, I feel like a very bad person.”
