I know the A.V. Club's really started to suck lately, but Erik Adams is still the best writer/reviewer this site has. His description of Pete (motherfucking) Campbell, and our feelings toward him, are spot-on.

Caillou does suck, but he's on Sprout… not PBS. My daughters can't watch Caillou because he's a whiny little pouf, but they can watch just about anything on PBS. This budget plan, if passed, would be a devastating blow.
This is clearly insane. He's in Nashville, Tenn. (Or at least he's supposed to be - they still film in Georgia, but Daniel is supposed to be in Nashville, Tenn.) It's evident by the (fake) I-65 and I-40 signs. Also, Daniel was starting over somewhere new, where he could "disappear" and assimilate. That would be much…
Of course, yes. Sorry. I'm an asshole. It didn't even really register. People have lost their fucking minds and I can't think straight.
If that's the case, then consider yourself incredibly lucky. I'm not being glib. If this is the worst you've experienced, then celebrate… because you've lived a pretty charmed life.
This is a ridiculously ignorant statement, Ben Grimm. If you thought about it, and were honest with yourself, you'd see how. But sadly I doubt that either of those things will happen.
Also, it's not very hard to see that the perspective is from the outside of the car looking in, with Rose on her back, getting stuffed by Leo, reaching her right hand up in ecstasy and disbelief that THIS is what she's been missing out on and it falls away when Leo pumps again and she's probably thinking she should go…
This is a perfect example of why the world hates us.
Holy shit. Only Kyle motherfucking Fowle could find racial undertones in this goddamn show. It doesn't matter that the family at the hotel was white (seriously, it doesn't). The kids busted out of the door wrestling and fighting, with their mother close behind trying to break them up. OF COURSE the people checking in…
And so where the hell is Tetris?
I don't know why I'm continually surprised by Brandon Nowalk's ineptitude. His "reviews" read like a sleep-deprived teenager's attempt at handling a last-minute assignment. He has what seems like a complete inability to understand the material. Or know the proper definitions of words. Or be bothered with knowing…
This is spot-on and 100% accurate. She chose this life, and all of the complications that come with it. She also chose to ruin lives in the process. It has nothing to do with sexism. Christine has serious issues, and I think the creators would probably agree (and be confused that some viewers don't see it).
"…to fight back against the powers that continually force her into servitude, into perceived roles based on her gender and sexual inclinations."
This is (unintentionally, I'm assuming) hilarious.
I don't think that's a possibility. It's not a mystery. Like Bob Ross said above, she didn't know that particular tape existed. That's not the one she filmed, and not the partner she filmed. If the show eventually tries to imply that she sent the tape, or even knew of it, then it's kind of a bad editing/continuity…
Exactly. Bitch is crazy.
Pharmacists: Even worse
I swear I think Brandon Nowalk doesn't actually watch these episodes. And if he does, then he's not paying attention. And if he's paying attention, then he's not understanding. His "reviews" are almost Gay of Thrones-esque - just gossipy babble about a show he either can't or doesn't want to keep up with.
