I would argue that McCain has always come off as a good sport with a sense of humor in those types of appearances, while Sarah Palin didn’t give that impression at all.

“You could have supported gay marriage sooner.”
I never imagined Trump’s hair used as a trophy, but now I want it mounted on a wall Gaston-style more than I’ve ever wanted anything in my life.
The sketch gets to the very purpose of an SNL appearance: that presidential candidates are likeable
Part of me hopes it was to power pantsuits and sensible heels.
Watching Hillary do a Donald Trump impression just made my Sunday.
Hillary Clinton appeared on Saturday Night Live’s season premiere and used the bit to make fun of Republican…
I LOVE AMBER ROSE
Wow FUCK Kanye
Thanks for this! I’m not trying to saying she doesn’t suffer from a mental disorder. But BIID is pretty much impossible to treat in many cases. She’s not a Dolezal pretending to be a minoritized group in order to get ahead in spaces dominated by that group. And she’s not a child, who in the case of gender identity we…
It’s interesting to me that no one in these threads got curious and did any reading on this. Medicating these people just doesn’t seem to do anything for them. It’s funny how body dysmorphia like this has people suggesting she needs medications when sufferers of BIID seem to be effectively cured by just having their…
BIID is weird and impossible for most people to understand, but I’m glad she’s happy now. If this is what it took for her, that’s unfortunate. But people put their bodies through all kinds of trauma to achieve the same goal of being the self they believe they always should have been.
Is it just me, or is this a bit insensitive? You spend a night outside, as some sort of challenge for a year’s worth of free food? In New York? Which, like all major cities, has a substantial homeless population?
MissAndry has this covered so I’m just going to quote her:
Calling yourself a humanist who “believes in an easy balance (between the genders)“ in direct response to the question “Are you a feminist” implies that humanism is some sort of alternate belief system about gender equality. It’s not. Point being, she chose a non-scary word instead of using the scary F word.
There’s nothing wrong with being a humanist, but saying you are in response to a question of whether you’re a feminist implies that humanism is an alternative belief system about equality of the sexes, when it has nothing to do with gender.
It disappears sexism (real sexism; not “misandry”) as an axis of oppression.
Jesus Christ if people don’t know what humanism is they should stop using the word. Yes even you Meryl.
Yep. Prison workers have, IRL, sewn underpants for a company that rhymes with Euphoria’s Leaflet.
if I could afford to shop at whole foods I would boycott whole foods.
