This will not be a popular comment and I’m fine with taking the heat for it. I know money is tight! So please don’t respond with that. I get it. But basically a few afternoons with some EBay and some scant materials and you can bedazzle the shoes that work for you in your price range if that happens to be up your

Yeah well. Some people would rather be around the Miss Rhiannons of the world than the people who find it noteworthy to point them out and make their “eww, gross!”comments. I’d much rather have tea with her.

I honestly don’t know if stress leads to sexual assault? I’m willing to hear about that. But I haven’t much familiarity with stress being a root cause of sexual crimes.

Please sober up a bit or get some therapy. Whatever helps you.

It’s not cool you got trolled and piled on. Read the posters comments on the Anthony Weiner case where he took pics with his kid and other posts on this thread where they are also trolling hard. They have a problem with these issues. It’s all in their comment history. Then later, they’ll try to post more

I completely agree. I may not have made it clear but I don’t think people whi have been prosecuted for a crime based on developmental issues would be terribly difficult to rehabilitate. I also think they deserve those community resources no matter what. Was this program for developmentally impaired people? I missed

You’re absolutely right and I do understand. It is probably the biggest factor involved in what I see as very faulty evidence of non -recidivism.

I have had cancellations with excuses then ghosting, then returning with excuses, rinse, repeat. In the end I saw it was a calculated dominance act so they always had a version of beck and call while the woman eagerly waits. Often juggling several women. He may see this vulnerability with you, he may do it to everyone

Yes. You also responded to the Anthony Weiner case where he took pictures next to his child claiming that the woman baited him and was paid for doing so. In terms of comment history with regard to articles that cover sexual assault and crossing sexual boundaries your comments look not just argumentative, cherry

I meant access to books you love- not love books, oops! Dammit!

I second what UsagiBunmy said! I was afraid to comment to you because I don’t have the advice and I didn’t want to make you feel even more stuck. What you’re going through is enough to choke up an internet stranger. When all your strength is used just to get by in tough circumstances it does make a person feel weak

Nope. You have trolled other posters in the comments section of this article who express wanting distance from sexual predators using the same method. It’s a pattern. There’s absolutely no substance to your comments aside from spoiling for a petty fight. I’m sure we all got the message loud and clear. Congrats.

Vice versa. Asking me to believe a self reviewed success rate by a governmental judicial system that has a long history of sweeping sexual assault under the rug and massively under-prosecuting is ridiculous enough. Getting self righteous and indignant when I express extreme doubt that this is an effective plan and

Nope. You’re building a twisted case to justify spoiling for a fight- nothing more. I have been clear that I do not think that the statistics are in any way reliable and that the methods claimed to reduce recidivism do not deal with the causes of sexual assault. At all. I used the term nuance. You might want to

Thanks but no thank you, troll. I think we are both pretty clear now.

No disrespect to you because I very much appreciate your response. But, no. The vast majority of sexual assaults go unreported. Of those reported around 3% are prosecuted. Then labor that to happen twice to one offender? The chances are outrageously minuscule.

3 out of 100 reported sexual assault cases are prosecuted. Most sexual assaults go unreported. In order to establish recidivism prosecution has to happen to one offender more than once. That statistical likelihood is so very, very tiny- so concluding that these programs are effective??? It seems absurd. How do you not

That’s worth thinking about. I was osbstinate because my thinking was that many of the offenders probably had all of these things BEFORE they offended and it certainly didn’t stop them. I still think the concept is a bit hinky. Because of 3 out of 100 sexual assault cases actually leading to prosecution. Then needing

I read and re-read before posting several times. So. Read and conclude what exactly? Please don’t ask me to make your point for you. Only you can do that. Feel free to read and re-read the article and comments and then to clarify your point. I don’t feel I can intuit it for you.

Yeah- that seems a little incongruous!
