The most frequently I see the name Ubisoft mentioned is foaming 16 year olds whining about Uplay on Steam forums. But, it’s good to see such a person at the helm.

The black divide...o’ how I love it. Let the people can’t get in the rooms mandate who should change something. That always works.

Lawd have mercy those are the bars I’ve been needing.

To the millions of dark and brown women who are dehumanized and discriminated against by their own people over their skin color and hair texture it doesn’t matter if the words were from 2009. As a spokesperson you know better it’s a terrible look. Should have scrubbed them. It’s not a game.

Bruh this shit is just what the doctor ordered and I can’t believe now of all times is when it came.

Definitely grown man music.

Just spoke with my boy at work about it.  We said we done defending these youngins.  This is GROWN. MAN. MUSIC.

This album is so fucking dope. Like holy shit. It may be Hotep the album, but i’m IN. Jay-Z out rapping Jay Elec was not expected. Jay Elec is in MF DOOM territory with the vocab. But so is the God MC. Hell he copped please about the NFL shit on Flux Capacitor and made that shit dope. And Neverending Story may be the

It's on Spotify as well. It's a beyond solid project, just wish it was longer. But I'm greedy.

I waited 13 years for this day.

Yup... big Sanders supporter here. I think it makes sense for him to hold at least one more debate, get one more dose of M4A and GND out there, as well as call for major debt relief.

and for a second time, i have to vote for that milquetoast candidate who has been set up for the candidacy instead of him.

I think he knows he’s out.  He’s going to use the last debate to challenge Biden publicly to address issues progressive voters find important, and then he’ll bow out.  I personally don’t have a problem with that.

I challenge Black MEN to comfort this little girl. The sistuhs can’t do everything.

Is The Root going to address Jason Johnson, or just slyly ignore that he’s been their senior political writer or whatever for years despite having no data to back up any of his claims and basing pretty much everything on racial dynamics?

It’s really for the best. There’s not much, if anything, worth salvaging from Song of the South. Even the material the film is based on is pretty much tinged through with Old South” attitudes defending Slavery etc. I mean, the guy who wrote the Uncle Remus character, Joel Chandler Harris, was exactly of that mindset

Yeah, the problems with Song of the South are not something that minor changes could fix. At best you’d really have to remake the whole thing, and rewrite everything, from the script to the framing/premise etc. It would be an entirely different movie, because it would need to be.

Yet the subtle low point of the film comes in Remus’s narration just before Zip-a-Dee-Doo-Dah, when he reminiscences about how things were “a long time ago,” when “every day was mighty satisfactual.” “If you’ll excuse me for saying so,” he adds, “’twas better all around.”

So they default to superficial civility instead of policy?
