I am currently in the process of rewatching Friends and its aged surprisingly well, I think. Reason for rewatching: a particularly bad breakup and related anxiety attacks. Watching Friends definitely helps, it should really be a form of official therapy.

How on earth is it possible to take a cat for a walk? Mine would have scratched my face off halfway down those stairs.

Now playing

All these people who don't understand the Benedict love have never heard him speak.

It magically showed up on my iPhone playlist one morning while I was cycling to work. I HATE U2, so no, I was not happy.

I LOVED Miss Hannigan. I was always hoping she would beat the shit out of annoying little Annie (the new girl looks great though.)
I also thought her kimonos and silk nightdresses were fabulous. Actually, I still do. And who doesn't need a bathtub full of gin sometimes?

Well, that's fabulous! Just excuse me for a moment while I start crying into my bottle of wrinkle cream :)

I'm sorry, you were BORN in 1998?

I remember some celebrity in the 90's naming her daughter Lilyella... It always stuck by me because even at 15 I thought it was so stupid. IT'S LILY OR ISABELLA NOT BOTH.

This is so familiar... when I introduced my chagrined cat to her new roommate (a tiny half-Siamese and completely ditzy kitten) World War III commenced. But after a few days my older cat got a terrible throat infection, probably from some bacteria carried by the kitten. She laid on the couch, stoned from pain

I'm so sorry. I know how you feel. Internet hugs.

It does. There are lots of treatments, but it's a very, very difficult disease and everybody responds differently to medication. My dad has it, and in the five years since he's been diagnosed he's aged so much. It's almost unbearable to watch for me.

Okay, this is hitting me really hard. My dad has Parkinson's Disease since about five years, and depression is definitely a part of it. I've seen him change, and it's the most difficult thing I've ever had to deal with. Parkinson's is horrible and I fucking hate it because it took a part of my father from me. I'm

Don't forget My Fair Lady! I loved her so much in that movie, even though her cockney accent was horrible.

Oh my God, I almost choked on a macademia nut from laughing out loud. Thank you for sharing :)

Still the most fabulous movie shoes ever.

Haha, thanks! Feels good to have your sympathy!

They made it clear they didn't want any "things" but instead a financial contribution for their new home.

I have nothing but sympathy for your parents wedding (mine married in a similar hippie-ish way in 1979). I like small, alternative weddings! And I wouldn't have had a problem with this one if they told everyone in advance about the potluck thing... But now it just feels like they don't really want us there in the
