I can attest this game is as fun to play as it looks; I was lucky enough to play it at a local convention (Anime North) last year with my 3 pals when it was still mostly in development, if I recall correctly. It was a blast, really well done and a stupid sense of teamwork and accomplishment was felt when you’d win.

I’m with you on this. Quite a few digimon games are that slow kind of pet raising sim like Re:Digitize. I guess it’s supposed to emulate the tamagotchi-like origins of digimon? I get people like it, it’s just not for me. But honestly, “Story” games (Digimon Story DS, Dusk/Dawn) are what I love. Good old fashioned
