I’ve never seen the manga or anything before, I assumed they were trying to make a potential topic surrounding the “uncanney valley” as something worth exploring in this movie.

Okay at first I raising my eyebrows at how they were implementing this, but then when I saw that the actual teams would benefit financially from these token-based purchases, I felt they were being pretty reasonable about this.
He made Yuu (one of the best Feng players in the world) look like an online scrub. Crazy.

Great game, dope music (especially since it’s based off of general club music) that pushed the Genesis soundchip to the limits, even great, memorable character design.
The marketing was terrible for this. Even the official posters were kinda sloppy...

Well that sucks, the Transparent show really grew on me starting mid-season 1, and I’ve been a fan since.
They’d say no not to please people on twitter, but becaause they don’t need EA or 2K.
While it’s commendable they’re saying these things, an “online” component could have a lot of implications for the company depending on what kind of resources are required to maintain this “component”.
