I swear, if Jinkx loses out on the finale because everyone decides to just block her pre-emptively, I’ll riot.

He’s pretty incredible on Malcolm in the Middle too. It’s a fully unique character on TV, his skills don’t match up with just being a funny sitcom actor.

I was just telling my husband how many comments I see on Reels (or however you view TikToks on instagram) are young people asking “What is that song ? What is the name of this song?” I’m like how do they know nothing of 70s or 80s music? Barely anyone under age 30 knew of Fleetwood Mac’s “Dreams” when that TikTok guy

Kyle has a critically-acclaimed Netflix series, Saturday Morning All-Star Hits

Honestly I think Mooney would be better off out of SNL.  His weird surreal humor thing never worked well on the show.  His Netflix show was a lot of fun

You can either heal from trauma or constantly try to win the trauma Olympics where no one else’s experiences matter because yours were worse. He never once compared wearing a dress to violent murder.

It’s completely plausible that the last dwindling fuel of the apocalypse will be spent consuming a piece of art from the 20th century nostalgically.

Uh oh. HBOmax is making a series about Netflix.

I like both actors, will probably watch it day it airs, and like it, and Netflix will probably cancel it after 1 or 2 seasons

When people malign an entire generation it makes me wonder why people think that’s less problematic than maligning an entire race or gender or other group united by a common characteristic that they had no choice in.

YOU MEAN LIKE GODDAMN G.L.O.W.???

This is the third freaking time that a Bone show has been greenlit only to get cancelled in production. Before Netflix, both Cartoon Network and Nickelodeon took a crack at it.

Which is weird, because it’s not like this is some abstract, unadaptable work: the original comic is basically designed to be read like a

I’m not much for her standup either, but Trainwreck was legit funny (plus it has Bill Hader!), and the handful of Inside Amy Schumer episodes that I’ve seen had a pretty good ratio of hit/miss sketches.

I never watched Inside Amy Schumer, but Trainwreck is decent, especially due to the comedy stylings of John Cena.

“Mark Wahlberg? I look like Mark Wahlberg ate Mark Wahlberg!”

They were both great, regardless.

It was both for me. My reaction was, “Ooh, ‘Tokyo Vice’? Oh, white dude lead. Ugh, Ansel Elgort.”

“It’s important to me, as an actor, to fully realize the world and the pain inherent in the character of” *checks notes* “a comic book vampire.”

When you hear about Day-Lewis’ quirky methods, you might be going like “what a weirdo!” but then you see one of his movies and it’s like “oh shit, I get it”.

Almost as if they think a movie for children who haven’t heard the messages in it before needs to be less subtle than a movie intended for adults who can pick up on subtext!

I hate the recent trend of giving subjects creative control over movies and shows about them. I guess Bohemian Rhapsody making nearly a billion despite being terrible, largely because of May and Taylor’s control, means we won’t see the end of it anytime soon.
