Middleditch gives me the impression of a desperate try hard. A lot of his costars on Silicon Valley have a huge following compared to him (and no one watches Silicon Valley for his character, imo one of the worst on the show). All the main guys are infinitely more interesting.

It worked for the Jays, who went through a series of terrible inferior logos for awhile there before going back to the original.

My friend, when looking for a job in production management (ie was the go-between the factory in india and her office), was told by recruiters in order to land a job she had to work on her, ‘personal brand’ on social media- ie Instagram, Facebook, etc. Nothing even vaguely related to her work. She’s a pretty private

What irritates me is those ballerina’s have trained *SO HARD* to be able to dance like that (i saw Black Swan!)...all for a first lady who, at most, looks vaguely bored/distracted.

Which, in Canada, are called ‘Rockets’

I’m 38, work in the arts and live in a large, expensive city so...roommates all day since i was 18. Fortunately only 2 were crappy roommates out of the roughly 20 or so people i’ve lived with . And one of those i knew would be, but i was desperate for an affordable apartment at a very short notice and the other was my

I’m an illustrator so the gallery show plus in the UK The Office where he gives her some paints and tells her to never give up really gives me the *FEELS*

I always get misty eyes when Michael goes to Pam’s art show. Michael is so awful but in that moment, your heart breaks. “There’s my car! Wow, that’s our building!”

I never understood people who would take their fortune and ‘invest’ in a restaurant. I guess they enjoy the thought of having a place and showing it off to their friends but really the whole thing is a money suck and stress-city (used to dishpig and cook for 7 years). And the nicer the place, the worse it got.

I went to a donkey conservation farm a few months ago and it was so awesome! They are such nice and docile creatures - the people there said if they stand by the fence (which a lot of them do), that means they want to be pet. They could just stand there all afternoon and get their ears scratched.

I’ve been having major problems with my internet connection over the last few weeks - got the cables inside changed, got a new modem - nada has worked. I work from home and it’s a problem!

Sweet corn on pizza is surprisingly good - it’s a thing in Austria, anyway (where it was common).

Man, I wish I had a teacher like Levar Burton growing up. I had some pretty great teachers, but this guy could’ve made me care about public school more.

“It has occurred to me since then that there’s this weird way that Spacey had discovered that the closet would shield other things. Being closeted has for him enabled him to use this privacy claim as a shield against anybody looking closely at his actual behavior. And then it may have served as this strange,

I’m a female and cooked for 7 years or so, sometimes at nice, formal kitchens and sometimes at mediocre places.

Sounds exactly like my landlord - gets irritated about being “bothered”,has no forethought and cuts corners, only for the problems to become increasingly worse, gets increasingly irritated, etc. I think he’ll wait til the house gets so beyond repair that he can’t rent it anymore and then sell the land for *a lot* of

I rent in an old house and had huge problems with mice when it became cool. It’s a total nightmare, because they are so smart - no matter how much food you put into containers they cannot open, how many traps, the populations boom so quickly that these preventative measures have little effect - the mice started moving

These guys make great holiday sweaters too:

This is what happened x5 the time i took a Chicago deep dish back home with me to Canada.
