Agreed. The longer this election goes on the more I start cooling towards both Bernie and Hillary. Because while both are great candidates, they both also have some issues. Hopefully when the general comes along I’ll start to get passionate again about whoever gets the nomination.

I highly doubt that a woman would call a man a whore in that scenario you described though. Both sexes judge each other for looks, yes. But as far as unwarranted insults (like “whore” or “slut”), that seems to be reserved (mostly) for women.

Good point! I wish abortion would make it to at least one debate, though. It’s such a huge issue for women and I can’t believe they’d ignore it.

In between Bernie being totally upset/confused or Hillary shading...Both Bernie and Hillary would try to talk about issues but then Trump would talk over them about unrelated thing X and then proudly, preemptively proclaim himself the winner of the “argument”. It would be like talking at a wall of crazy.

Completely agree. “No maj” is totally not American-sounding at all. “Normies” sounds like it would become popular when American slang started really evolving, so I could totally believe that. “No maj”, on the other hand, sounds like it wouldn’t have come from ANY period of American culture/history.

I don’t know if I would say Neanderthals were more sexually violent than humans, but after your comment I did look this up: apparently Neanderthals and humans do not share any mitochondrial DNA (which is passed down from mother to child), which suggests that it was male Neanderthals who bred with female humans.

The kidnapping and raping went both ways, from what I remember (though please correct me if I’m wrong!). However, Neanderthals certainly were not peaceful. Compared to Homo Sapiens, they may have been less warlike, but they were also less capable of “creativity”.

I agree that Neanderthals get a bad rap but to be honest, most researchers today think that Neanderthals had quite a bit of inter-species violence, and that while they were cave artists, their burial rituals weren’t as sophisticated as humans (and the flowers on graves may have been a lie)
