Since the shot uses a killed virus it is not possible to catch the flu from getting the shot. I know that you didn’t say the shot caused your flu but since some people think that’s possible I just wanted to put that reminder out there.

Fair point. I definitely had calendars like this when I was in high school. I didn’t keep them but now that you mention it I also don’t recall specifically throwing them away. My parents have moved several times since I was in high school so it is likely that old calendars would have gotten tossed out in that process…

Exactly this. I have fair skin and bruise fairly easily. If the husband isn’t careful it just happens sometimes. And yes, I find it hugely embarrassing!
